What is a Chinese Company Registration Status?

When we lookup registration records for Mainland China companies the status is listed under the term "登记状态" (Dēngjì zhuàngtài), which means "Registration Status".

Here at China Checkup we verify Chinese companies, and having viewed tens of thousands of Chinese company AIC records, we have found a wide range of terms used to describe a company's registration status.

Hence, this glossary provides a list of the various terminology used to describe a Chinese company registration status, together with pinyin and English translations.

Chinese Company Registration Status Terms

We've split this part into 2 sections - one for the terms which mean a company is currently registered, and another section which means it is not.
